Kohima /Nagaland : A Unique and intrinsic initiative by the HQ IGAR (North) under the aegis Spear Corps of the Indian Army in the form of Military – Civil Fusion Seminar – 2025 was conducted at Kohima from 08 Sept to 10 Sept 2025. The seminar aimed at fostering synergy between the Defence Forces and Civil Administration.

The three day event was conducted in six sessions of engaging and thought provoking talks, discussion, sharing visions and ideas by the eminent speakers from various departments of Nagaland state govt, Indian Army, Assam Rifles, Police, Academicians and Media deliberating on critical issues of youth empowerment, disaster management, healthcare, conn ectivity, internal security, intelligence sharing, integrated border management, welfare of veterans, skill development and perception building.
The seminar, while negotiating through the contours of gruelling sessions skillfully ascertained areas of concern, capabilities, challenges, and collaborations for creating a shared roadmap for peace, stability, and progress in Nagaland.
The event concluded with a highlighting of Key Takeaways & a vote of thanks to all speakers, participants, and organisers for their valuable contributions. The Military Civil Fusion Seminar set the stage open for all the stakeholders to join hands and reaffirm the collective resolve of the Armed Forces to partner with civil institutions for a peaceful and prosperous Nagaland.
