Silchar: In a celebratory event filled with pride and admiration, Monoswini Chakravorty was felicitated on Tuesday at the AUSU Building, Assam University, Silchar, for securing a bronze medal at the National Muay Thai Championship. The felicitation ceremony, organised by the Assam University Students’ Union (AUSU), honoured Monoswini’s remarkable achievement, which has brought laurels to the university.

The event was graced by distinguished guests including Prof. Himadri Sekhar Das, Head of the Department of Physics; Dr. Tineshwori Devi, Director of the Sports Board; and Dr. Siddarth, Assistant Director of the Physical Education and Sports Board.

AUSU President Bhaskar Goswami addressed the gathering with a stirring speech, encouraging students to draw inspiration from Monoswini’s journey. Taanish anchored the event with infectious energy, while AUSU Sports Secretary PranKrishna Saikia extended a sincere vote of thanks to conclude the programme.
