Silchar: Arun Kumar Chanda Law College marked an important milestone on Thursday as MP Parimal Suklabaidya laid the foundation stone for a new Moot Court Room. The project, funded through an allocation of Rs.10 lakh from the MP fund, is expected to strengthen the college’s focus on practical legal training.
College Principal Abu Tahir Talukdar welcomed the development and said the institution is entering a new phase. He noted that the Moot Court Room will expand opportunities for students and significantly raise the standard of legal education on campus.
Students attended the ceremony in large numbers, adding energy to the occasion. BJP Cachar district general secretary Gopal Kanti Roy, district secretary Sumana Das, and social activist Snehanshu Shekhar Bhattacharjee were also present.
They praised the effort and highlighted its potential to improve the college’s academic environment.
The upcoming facility is expected to boost the college’s academic future and strengthen hands-on legal training. The event generated a sense of optimism and cooperation among faculty, students, and all associated with the institution.
