Silchar: NCC NIT Silchar marked NCC Raising Day with a blood donation drive on November 23 in collaboration with Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. The camp began at 9 in the morning at the Student Activity Center building.
Here’s what matters. The event drew strong participation from cadets, students and faculty members who stepped in to support a cause that directly saves lives. The turnout showed how deeply the spirit of service and community welfare runs on the campus.
A medical team from Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre supervised the entire process and ensured that the camp ran safely and smoothly.
The organisers said the drive was meant to encourage more people to understand the value of voluntary blood donation. A single unit can change the course of someone’s life, and efforts like these help build a culture of responsibility and care within the community.
