BJP Steps Up Preparations in Silchar

Silchar: Preparations are going on in full swing for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Barak Valley. A fresh review meeting was held at the BJP Cachar District office in Silchar on Tuesday.

Senior party leaders and workers attended the meeting to review all arrangements related to the Prime Minister’s visit. Discussions were held on coordination, crowd management, logistics, and overall planning. Leaders urged party workers to stay united and work with full dedication to make the public meeting a success.
The meeting was attended by Minister Pijush Hazarika, Minister Kaushik Rai, Minister Krishnendu Paul, MP Parimal Suklabaidya, MP Kripanath Mallah, Rajya Sabha MP Kanad Purkayastha, MLA Dipayan Chakraborty, former MP Rajdeep Roy and BJP District President Rupam Saha, along with several MLAs and party karyakartas.
Ahead of the Prime Minister’s arrival in Silchar, Minister Pijush Hazarika also interacted with the media. He said people of the region are eagerly waiting for the visit. Several major development projects for Assam are expected to be dedicated and launched during the programme.
Party leaders expressed confidence that the visit will mark another important step in the development journey of the state and strengthen Barak Valley’s role in that progress.
