Silchar: Preparations are in full swing for the scheduled public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 14 March at the Silchar–Budurail bypass. A detailed review meeting was held today at the District Commissioner’s Office, Silchar, to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the event.

The meeting was attended by Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika, along with other concerned officials. The discussions focused on key arrangements including stage setup, security measures, vehicle parking, drinking water supply and other essential facilities for the large gathering expected on the day.

Officials reviewed the preparedness of various departments and stressed coordinated efforts to maintain order and safety. Special emphasis was laid on proper crowd management and seamless traffic regulation around the venue.

The administration expressed confidence that with timely coordination and planning, the public meeting will be conducted in a smooth and disciplined manner.
