Silchar: In preparation for the Tritiya Purnanga Karyanirbahak Adhibeshan (2025–27) of the Asom Sahitya Sabha, scheduled for October 11–12 in Silchar, a preparatory meeting of the Adorini Committee was held at the residence of Minister Kaushik Rai.

As the Working President of the Sabha’s Reception Committee, Minister Rai discussed plans with committee members to ensure the smooth and comprehensive success of the upcoming session. The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty, Cachar Senior Superintendent of Police Numal Mahatta, among others.

The committee expressed gratitude to Rai for his guidance and support in organizing the session.
