Silchar: Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty on Monday attended a preparatory meeting at the DC Office Conference Hall ahead of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma’s scheduled visit to the town on September 1.

The meeting, chaired by Cachar District Commissioner Mridul Yadav, brought together senior administrative officials and key stakeholders to review and finalise arrangements for the event. Discussions focused on ensuring smooth coordination among departments, security measures, and logistical support to facilitate the Chief Minister’s programmes during his visit.
