Silchar: A preparatory meeting of the Transport Cell and Mobilisation Cell of the Cachar District BJP was held on Sunday in view of the upcoming visit of Narendra Modi to Silchar.

The meeting took place at the proposed venue of the Prime Minister’s programme and was chaired and addressed by Assam ministers Kaushik Rai and Krishnendu Paul.

During the meeting, discussions were held on transport arrangements, mobilisation of supporters, and overall preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of the Prime Minister’s programme. The leaders stressed the need for proper coordination among party workers and different organisational units.

Senior BJP leader Bijendra Prasad Singh was also present at the meeting along with party functionaries and members of the transport and mobilisation teams.
