Bihara: The Janmotsav of Shri Radharani was observed on Sunday at the Jagannath Temple in Chayaran Basti, Bihara Bazaar, with traditional rituals and devotion.
The day’s programme included chanting of Radha-Krishna’s names, bhajan-kirtan, and recitation from the Krishnalila Saravali narrating Radharani’s birth. Devotees also performed the Ashtottara Shatanam (108 sacred names of Radharani), followed by abhishek and aarti of Shri Radha Thakurani.
In the afternoon, mahaprasad was distributed among several hundred devotees who had gathered for the occasion. The event was supported by local devotees, including Kripamoy Chatterjee, Raghunath Sinha, Harendra Sinha, and Kitisundar Sinha, among others.
