Silchar: The reinstallation of the iconic statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at Rangirkhari Point is progressing rapidly, drawing attention and admiration from citizens who pass by the site daily. The site, envisioned as a tribute to the legendary freedom fighter, is steadily taking shape and edging closer to completion.

As part of his regular inspection routine, a local enthusiast remarked, “As on every other day, today too I visited the site where the dream-like reinstallation of the Netaji statue is gradually taking shape.”
The ambitious project has been receiving active support and supervision from Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty, who has been instrumental in driving the initiative forward. In a show of commitment, the legislator paid a late-night visit to the site on Friday, assessing the progress and interacting with the on-ground workers.
Residents have expressed appreciation for the MLA’s hands-on approach, hoping the project will soon be unveiled as a landmark befitting Netaji’s legacy.
