Silchar: The cultural organization Sammilito Loko Parishad, dedicated to the preservation and promotion of folk culture in Barak Valley, will host its Agomoni event titled “Uma Aila Naiore” on Wednesday, September 24, at the Silchar Sangeet Vidyalaya auditorium.

The programme will begin at 5 pm. According to the organization’s president, Dr. Anup Kumar Roy, the event will be formally inaugurated by Swami Baikunthananda Maharaj of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Silchar.

Dr. Roy has appealed to all lovers of folk culture to participate wholeheartedly and make the event meaningful and memorable.

It is worth noting that the programme, earlier scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, has now been rescheduled to Wednesday, September 24.
