Schools, Colleges Shine in Alpana Competition at Barak Utsav 2026 in Sribhumi

Sribhumi: Students from schools, higher secondary schools, and colleges took part in an Alpana art competition held at Sribhumi as part of Barak Utsav 2026. The event saw strong participation and creative displays from young artists across different age groups.

In Group A, Srija Das of Maharshi Vidya Mandir won first prize. Sadia Choudhury from Karimganj Secondary School secured second place, while Arin Nath of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya stood third.

In Group B, Bishwajit Roy of N.N.T.C.M.V. School won first prize. The second position went to Piu Santra of Netaji Vidyalaya, and Priyanka Gupta from Bikam Chand Balika Vidyalaya finished third.

In Group C, Prasen Paul, a BA 6th semester student, secured first place. Sagarika Namasudra won second prize, while Eshita Das stood third.

In the College category, Vivekananda College of Education won first prize. Frontier Senior Secondary School secured second place, and Karimganj Senior Secondary School of Science came third.

In the Higher Secondary category, PM Shri MMC Girls’ H.S. School won first prize. Maharishi Vidya Mandir H.S. School secured second position, followed by Bhikamchand Balika Vidyaniketon H.S. School in third place.

In the High/ME category, Birja Sundari Girls’ High School won first prize. NNTC MV School secured second place, while Little Angels KIDZEE stood third.

The Alpana competition added colour and cultural spirit to Barak Utsav 2026, giving young artists a platform to showcase their creativity and talent.
