Silchar: Former national referee from Silchar, Prabir Das, along with sports lovers Sahin Laskar and Arnab Kar, extended financial help to a distressed family from Tarapur during a recent visit.

For the second time, the group met Kripesh Pal and supported his family, which has been facing severe hardship. The trio provided cash assistance as immediate relief. The help was aimed at reducing the financial stress of the family, especially for the care of Kripesh Pal’s bedridden son, Nayan Pal.

Arnab Kar said he would try to send Rs 2,000 every month through bank transfer to help with medicine and food expenses for Nayan Pal.

Sports personality Bijendra Prasad Singh said the organisation Seva has started the required government process to obtain Nayan Pal’s Disability Certificate and Unique Disability Identity Card. This is expected to help the family receive government benefits and long-term support.
