Silchar: In a remarkable demonstration of organisational efficiency and grassroots mobilisation, all 236 booths under the Silchar Assembly Constituency successfully hosted the live broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’, achieving 100% booth-level participation.

Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty extended his heartfelt appreciation to booth presidents and karyakartas across all levels, commending their coordinated efforts in ensuring the success of this outreach initiative. “Their unwavering commitment and tireless work made this milestone possible,” the MLA noted.

A total of 9,215 people attended the programme across various booths, highlighting both the strong grassroots connect of the Prime Minister’s message and the enthusiasm of the public towards participatory governance.

Chakraborty further said that such initiatives not only enhance public engagement with national issues but also foster a deeper sense of unity and collective consciousness within communities. The full-scale implementation of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ across the constituency is being hailed as a significant benchmark in local political outreach and communication strategy.
