Silchar: Demonstrating his continued commitment to the education sector, Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty visited Durga Shankar Pathsala on Thursday the school with the highest student enrolment in Assam.
During the visit, the MLA engaged in constructive discussions with the school’s administration regarding preparations for the upcoming centenary celebration. Deliberations also centred around the condition of the school’s infrastructure and long-term plans for academic and structural development.
Chakraborty lauded the institution’s legacy and assured full support for making the 100-year celebration a memorable event. He also stressed the need to enhance the learning environment, especially in light of the school’s exceptionally large student base.
The meeting was attended by several key dignitaries, including Principal Dilip Roy, Vice-President Pradip Das, the President and Secretary of the managing committee, faculty members, and other stakeholders. The visit reinforced a shared commitment to preserving and strengthening the school’s educational excellence.
