Silchar: Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty chaired a meeting with the functionaries of three mandals under the Silchar Legislative Assembly to review and ensure the effective implementation of three flagship initiatives of the Assam Government the Orunodoi Scheme, Nijut Moina and the ration card system.

The meeting focused on streamlining processes, addressing field-level challenges, and ensuring that the benefits reach all eligible beneficiaries without delay. Mandal Presidents Hirak Choudhury, Dulal Das and Piklu Das, along with BLA-2 Shantanu Roy, were present during the discussions.

MLA Chakraborty emphasised the importance of coordinated efforts between grassroots functionaries and administrative authorities to achieve the government’s welfare goals.
