Silchar: The Silver Jubilee celebrations of Sristi: Sammanito Sanskritik Chorcha Ebong Prosikhan Kendra began on a vibrant note on Sunday morning with a colourful rally that drew participation from nearly 500 people.
The event, marked by enthusiasm and creative spirit, set the tone for the yearlong celebrations, making the day a memorable one for the cultural fraternity of Silchar.

A host of educational and cultural organizations lent their support and joined the procession, including Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Nrityalayam, Rupam, Uttamsha, Nibedita School, Amra Swajan, Youth Against Social Evils, Saraswat, Sur Bahar Music Organization, Silchar Sangeet Vidyalaya, Morning Club, New Silchar Art Academy, Barak Valley Voluntary Blood Donation Organization, Esho Boli Club, Aajker Projonmo Theatre Group, Bhabikal Natya Gusthi, and Dashrupak Club.
Adding significance to the occasion, the Silver Jubilee logo, designed by Ketan Debroy, was formally unveiled by Prof. Biswatosh Chowdhury.
Another highlight of the day was the official launch of the Silver Jubilee theme song, written and composed by Biswaraj Bhattacharjee, which further enriched the celebratory atmosphere.
The organisers expressed gratitude to all the individuals and organizations whose presence and contributions made the inaugural event a resounding success.
