Sribhumi: The Sribhumi District Sports Association, on Monday, paid heartfelt tribute to Bengali language martyrs Jaganmoy Deb and Dibyendu Das (Jagan-Jishu) two valiant sons of the soil who laid down their lives to uphold the dignity and identity of the Bengali language.

Marking the day of their supreme sacrifice, members of the association gathered to offer floral homage and observe a moment of silence in memory of the bravehearts. The martyrs’ courage and unwavering commitment to the language movement were remembered with deep reverence.
