Silchar: Rajya Sabha MP and Trinamool Congress leader Sushmita Dev met Garima Garg, wife of the late singer Zubeen Garg, on Wednesday to offer her condolences.

Speaking after the meeting, Dev said, “I wish the circumstances were different. My words cannot match the pain she must feel after losing Zubeen Garg.” She conveyed her personal condolences as well as those of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

“Our prayers are with her and the family,” Dev added.
