Katigorah : Once again, suspected Bangladeshi nationals have been detained in Katigorah, Cachar district. Just a short while ago, police apprehended two individuals from the Chourangi area of Katigorah. According to sources, there were a total of three Bangladeshi nationals present at the location, but one managed to flee upon sensing the police raid.

In a separate operation, police also detained three more Bangladeshi nationals from the Jalalpur area of Katigorah. All five detainees from Chourangi and Jalalpur have been brought to Silchar for further interrogation.

The incident has sparked tension in the area. Police have confirmed that the individuals lacked valid documents, and necessary legal proceedings are currently underway.
