Udhharbond : Udhharbond Table Tennis Club has begun preparations to celebrate Independence Day with pride. Like every year, this special occasion will be marked with various programmes and competitions. The aim of these events is especially to encourage young students and children.

The celebrations will begin on August 13. On August 13 and 14, a two-day children’s sports festival will be held in memory of Krishna Vaishnav. This event, to be hosted in the club’s indoor arena, will be open to students from Class II to Class VII, divided into three groups. Registration will be open on August 13 before the competitions, with no entry fee.

On August 15, the national flag will be hoisted in the club premises at 7 a.m., as per tradition. At 11 a.m. on the same day, a sit-and-draw competition will be held in the club’s indoor arena. Students from Class I to Class XII can participate in four groups. Registration will be open on the day of the competition. The top three winners in each category will receive trophies and certificates. The prize distribution ceremony will be held in the evening.
