Silchar: Manik Saha, the Chief Minister of Tripura, on Monday described the state budget for 2026–27 as “very good,” saying it provides increased allocations across all departments with a strong focus on infrastructure development.

The budget was presented in the state assembly by Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy.

Speaking on the budget, Manik Saha said it reflects the government’s vision of “One Tripura–Best Tripura” and contributes toward the broader national goal of building a developed India. He added that the budget aims to strengthen development in multiple sectors while improving infrastructure across the state.

The Chief Minister also pointed out that the budget has been prepared without imposing any additional financial burden on the people. According to him, the allocations are designed to support growth and ensure that development reaches all sections of society.
