Silchar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the Vibrant Village Programme (VVP) tomorrow at Natunpur, a border village under the Katigorah Assembly constituency along the India–Bangladesh border.
Ahead of the visit, Assam Minister Kaushik Rai inspected the venue on Thursday to review preparations and ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.
The initiative focuses on the overall development of border areas, strengthening security, and promoting a stronger sense of patriotism among people living in frontier regions.
During his visit, Rai took stock of arrangements to ensure that every aspect of the programme is carried out properly and successfully.
