Silchar: Ahead of the upcoming Durga Puja, social organization Unity Hub organized a saree distribution program for 100 women in the Itkhola–Malugram area. The event took place at the premises of the Shiva Temple on Steamer Ghat Road.

BJP Cachar District Committee Malugram–Rangpur Mandal President Pulak Deb, along with senior citizens of the locality, attended the program as guests and personally handed over the sarees to the beneficiaries.

The initiative by Unity Hub was widely appreciated, with thanks extended to the organization’s president, secretary, members, and invited guests for their contribution. The event concluded with festive greetings being shared on the occasion of Durga Puja.
