Silchar: Overnight downpour has left large parts of Silchar under water, with residents facing near flood conditions. Streets in National Highway Point, Das Colony, Sonai Road, 1st Link Road, Vivekananda Road and Shillongpatty were submerged, disrupting traffic and daily life. In low-lying neighborhoods, rainwater entered homes, adding to the misery of residents.
