Sahitya Sanskriti Adda – Guwahati, a newly formed voluntary organization dedicated to the promotion of literature and culture, is set to organize its inaugural event, the Grand Indian Classical Evening, on 18th February 2205 at 6:00 PM at Pragjyoti ITA, Machkhowa, Guwahati.
Under the leadership of A K Absar Hazarika (President), along with Anupam Choudhury & Prafulla Sarma (Vice Presidents), Madhurima Barua (General Secretary), Masaddar Hussain & Ujjal Bhowmick (Joint Secretaries), Kajal Dev (Treasurer), and a dedicated group of cultural activities, the organization aims to celebrate and showcase the rich heritage of Indian Classical music and dance through this grand occasion.
The event will feature an exquisite lineup of renowned classical musicians and dancers, including Pandit Samar Saha & Subhajyoti Guha – Tabla maestros, Mausumi Sen – Hindustani Classical Vocalist, Pandit Ranajit Sengupta – Sarod virtuoso, Hironmoy Mitra – Harmonium exponent, Alokparna Guha – Kathak dancer, from Kolkata and Sanjukta Phukan – Violin prodigy from Guwahati.
These distinguished artists will deliver mesmerizing performances, bringing alive the grandeur of India’s artistic traditions. The audience will experience an enchanting evening of soulful music and dance.
