In 2011 when Dr Bhupen Hazarika passed away not a single person came from the Government of India to pay their respects.

Today that wound has been healed with none other than Hon’ble Prime Minister himself leading #BhupenDaAt100 celebrations and paying tributes to Sudhakanta.
