Silchar: The Lions Club of Silchar Valley View observed the death anniversary of martyr Khudiram Bose on August 11. The club paid deep respect and expressed pride in remembering this brave son of India, who sacrificed his life at a young age for the country’s independence.

Under the leadership of club president Bandita Tribedi Roy, members of the club offered floral tributes at the statue of the great freedom fighter on Club Road, Silchar, and in the evening lit candles at the base of the statue.
Among other dignitaries present during the tribute were project chairperson Pushpabati Roy, Prashanta Bhattacharjee, and guiding Lion Sanjeev Roy. On this glorious day, the club remembered the great deeds and sacrifice of the martyr.
