Lakhipur: Acting on specific intelligence, Cachar Police carried out an anti-narcotics operation in Lakhipur and seized 416 grams of heroin from a vehicle.

The seized contraband is valued at around Rs.2.8 crore in the illegal market. Police confirmed that one person has been arrested in connection with the case.
