Silchar: On Monday, Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty inaugurated the newly constructed kitchen and hall at the Kali temple on Tarapur Kalibari Road, Silchar, a project implemented under the Assam Darshan initiative of the Government of Assam.

Speaking at the event, Dipayan Chakraborty expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma for providing the grant that made the construction possible. The inauguration was attended by the temple committee President Babul Hore, Secretary Prabal Dey, and other members of the committee.

Dipayan Chakraborty concluded by wishing that the blessings of the Goddess be showered upon all.
