Silchar : Silchar Police on Saturday conducted a raid at Healthy Unique Life Clinic in Ambicapatty following an allegation of illegal medical practice. During the operation, police apprehended one Bipul Chandra Nath, who had been posing as Dr. B.C. Nath and allegedly treating patients without valid medical credentials.

Police sources confirmed that several incriminating documents and materials were seized from the clinic during the raid. The accused was taken into custody for questioning.

A case has been registered at Silchar Police Station (Case No. 978/25) under sections19(2)/316(2)/336(2)/125/271 of the relevant law. The investigation is currently underway to ascertain the extent of the fraud and whether others were involved.

Cachar SSP Numal Mahatta has reiterated his commitment to act firmly against such illegal practices that endanger public health.
