Silchar: The 71st Anniversary Celebration of Hiyangkhei Eeratpa in honour of Lord Eethou Eekan Sidaba and Malem Eema was held with devotion and grandeur at Maruching Khuvam, Ramnagar, Silchar.

The event, which drew a large gathering of devotees, was attended by Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, Chakraborty said he had earlier taken several initiatives for the development of Maruching and assured the devotees of more developmental works in the near future.

He described the celebration as a spiritually enriching experience that reflects the deep-rooted cultural and religious traditions of the region.

The programme featured traditional rituals, devotional offerings, and cultural performances that highlighted the rich spiritual heritage associated with Hiyangkhei Eeratpa.
