Silchar: The Barak Festival and NEIR Fest (North East Integration Rally) will be held across three locations in Barak Valley on January 22 and 23. The events aim to celebrate unity, culture, and the living spirit of Northeast India.

The programme is being organised by the KRC Foundation in collaboration with local institutions. It brings together students, artists, and citizens to share culture and build bonds across the region.

The first event will take place on January 22 at Gandhi Bhawan, Silchar, from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. On the same day, another programme will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Saraswati Vidya Niketan on Bankha Dutta Road in Sribhumi district.

The final programme of the Barak Festival and NEIR Fest will be held on January 23 at S.S. College, Hailakandi. The event will run from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm and is being organised in collaboration with the college.

The North East Integration Rally 2026 is a major initiative focused on peace, cultural exchange, and people-to-people connection across the Northeast.
