Imphal: Representatives of the DMU Students’ Union, accompanied by the AMSU headquarters president, called on Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand at the Secretariat on Thursday and discussed several issues concerning student welfare.

During the meeting, the delegation honoured the Chief Minister with a traditional Lengyan Fi and extended warm courtesies. The students apprised him of a number of important matters, including issues related to scholarships, the posting of security guards, and the need for further improvement in the overall academic environment.
Khemchand appreciated the constructive engagement of the student representatives and said the State Government remains committed to supporting the aspirations of students across Manipur.
He assured the delegation that the government would make all possible efforts to address the concerns raised and continue working towards strengthening a safe, supportive, and progressive academic atmosphere for the youth.
