Voters across Assam will elect representatives from 126 constituencies to form the new Legislative Assembly

Silchar: The election for all 126 Assembly constituencies in Assam will be held on April 9, 2026. The counting of votes will take place on May 4, officials said.
The election will decide the formation of the next government in the state. Political parties have already begun preparations and are expected to intensify their campaigns in the coming weeks.
