Guwahati: The prosecution on Friday concluded its arguments during the charge-framing hearing in the death case of noted singer Zubeen Garg before a local court in Guwahati.

Speaking to reporters after the hearing, the deceased singer’s wife, Garima Saikia Garg, said that the prosecution completed its submissions on the second day of proceedings.

The Kamrup Metropolitan District and Sessions Court, which is currently hearing the matter, has fixed March 30 as the next date of hearing. On that day, the remaining defence lawyers are expected to present their arguments.

The case will proceed further after the court hears both sides before deciding on the framing of charges.
