Ranjit Das as Himanta Biswa Sarma Takes Oath Again

Guwahati: Ranjit Das on Monday described it as a “fortunate day” for Assam as Himanta Biswa Sarma took oath to lead the state once again. Speaking in Guwahati, Das said the presence of nearly 20 Chief Ministers from across the country highlighted the importance of the swearing-in ceremony.
He also thanked the BJP-led alliance after being announced as its candidate for the post of Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly.
“The BJP will form the government in 2031 too. Himanta Biswa Sarma’s government will continue for 15 years,” Das said while addressing the media.The ceremony witnessed the attendance of several senior leaders and dignitaries from different states.
