Agartala: The Tripura government has withdrawn the scheduled 26-day summer vacation for all state-run colleges, including technical and professional institutions, to ensure continuity in academic and administrative activities.
According to an official notification issued on Friday by Higher Education Director Animesh Debbarma, the vacation, which was scheduled to begin from May 26, has been cancelled in the interest of students.
The order applies to all government-run general degree colleges as well as technical and professional educational institutions across the state. Officials said the decision was taken to avoid disruption in academic schedules and maintain the smooth functioning of classes, examinations, and administrative work.
The Higher Education Department has instructed all institutions to continue regular academic activities as per schedule.
