Silchar: In a major crackdown under the ongoing #WarOnDrug campaign, Cachar Police seized suspected heroin during an operation at Ramnagar Bypass in Silchar. Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a Bolero vehicle and recovered eight soap cases containing around 90 grams of suspected heroin.

One person has been arrested in connection with the case. Police said further investigation is underway.
