Rotary Club of Guwahati Organizes Gallup Strengths-Based Training Programme

Guwahati : The Rotary Club of Guwahati (RCG) successfully organized a two-day Gallup Strengths-Based Training Programme in Guwahati on 12–13 June, aimed at helping participants discover and leverage their innate talents to achieve greater personal and professional success.

The programme was facilitated by renowned Global Gallup Coach Nitul Ojha, who introduced participants to the Gallup CliftonStrengths framework and guided them through an engaging learning experience focused on strengths-based leadership, teamwork, communication, and personal development.

A total of 13 participants attended the training, including five members of the Rotary Club of Guwahati, among them Rtn. Manoj Kumar Das, along with eight external participants representing diverse professional backgrounds. Through interactive sessions, assessments, and group discussions, participants gained valuable insights into their strengths and learned how to apply them effectively in their professional and personal lives.

The valedictory session was held on 13 June at 5:30 PM, where distinguished Rotary leaders addressed the participants and appreciated the initiative taken by the Rotary Club of Guwahati. PDG Prabhat Kedia and AG Utpal Gohain, among others, congratulated the participants for successfully completing the programme and emphasized the importance of strengths-based leadership in both professional and community service activities.

On the occasion, the participants shared their experiences and highlighted the practical value of the Gallup Strengths framework in enhancing self-awareness, team effectiveness, and leadership capabilities.

As a mark of appreciation for his outstanding contribution, Global Gallup Coach Nitul Ojha was felicitated by the Rotary Club of Guwahati during the valedictory function.

The Rotary Club of Guwahati expressed its sincere gratitude to NERAMAC (North Eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation Ltd.) and NRL (Numaligarh Refinery Limited) for sponsoring the programme and supporting initiatives that promote leadership development and capacity building in the region.

The Club reiterated its commitment to bringing globally recognized learning opportunities to Northeast India and fostering a culture of continuous learning, leadership excellence, and personal growth. The successful completion of the Gallup Strengths-Based Training Programme marks another significant step in empowering individuals to unlock their full potential and contribute more effectively to their organizations and communities.
