Silchar: Students of Assam University have voiced concern over the poor condition of roads on and around the university campus, urging the concerned authorities to begin restoration work without delay.

According to the students, the damaged and uneven roads are causing daily inconvenience to students, faculty members, and commuters. They said the deteriorating condition of the roads has made travel difficult and raised safety concerns, particularly during the monsoon season.

The students appealed to the university administration and the concerned government departments to take up repair and restoration work at the earliest to ensure safe and smooth movement within and around the campus.

As of now, no official response has been issued by the concerned authorities regarding the demand for road repairs.
