Silchar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its candidate list for the Silchar Municipal Corporation Election 2026.
The list was declared by Assam BJP president Dilip Saikia following the State Election Committee meeting.The party has named candidates for 38 wards, covering open, women, SC and SC-women reserved seats.
The announcement is expected to intensify the political battle ahead of the Silchar Municipal Corporation polls.
