ITANAGAR: BJP leaders and workers across Arunachal Pradesh marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday by lighting ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ and offering prayers for his good health and long life.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu and state BJP president Kaling Moyong led the main ceremony at the Theravada Buddhist Temple in Itanagar.

Similar programmes were organised at Ziro and Donyi Polo Airport in Holongi, as part of the nationwide celebrations.BJP leaders and workers offered prayers for the Prime Minister’s good health, strength and long life during the programmes.
