NEW DELHI: Mizoram-based fashion designer Hannah Khiangte has been honoured with the ELLE Fashion Voice of the Year 2026 award at the ELLE Style Awards in New Delhi.
Khiangte is known for bringing the traditional Mizo handwoven textile puan into contemporary fashion while retaining its cultural identity and heritage.
The recognition highlights her efforts to showcase Mizo textile traditions on a wider fashion platform. She dedicated the award to the Zo community and the people of the Northeast.
