MORIGAON: Assam Minister and Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) leader Atul Bora criticised AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal during an election campaign in Morigaon, alleging that Ajmal was more interested in business activities than public service.

Bora was campaigning in support of BJP-led alliance candidate Devashish Sharma for the Nagaon Lok Sabha bypoll.

Addressing the campaign gathering, Bora questioned Ajmal’s priorities and alleged that the AIUDF chief had given greater importance to business interests than serving the people.

The remarks came as leaders of the BJP-led alliance intensified campaigning for the Nagaon Lok Sabha bypoll.
