GUWAHATI: Security agencies arrested 18 people and conducted simultaneous raids at 38 locations across Assam, Mizoram and Manipur on October 23 as part of Operation Trident, a crackdown on an alleged international narcotics trafficking network.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah shared the details on October 25, highlighting the multi-state operation against the suspected drug trafficking network.

The coordinated raids across the three northeastern states marked a major enforcement action targeting alleged links in the international narcotics trade.
