Under the umbrella of ONGC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Satindra Mohan Deb Hospital received a significant donation of air conditioners, courtesy of ONGC and the Shrikona Unit in association with Barak Valley based Pioneer NGO ” Rural Development and Social Service Organization (RDSSO). The formal handover ceremony took place on Friday evening at 6 o’clock at the conference hall of S M Dev Civil Hospital Silchar, where hospital authorities were briefed about the donation.

Present at the event were Bipul Gohai, Asset Manager of ONGC Shrikona, and H.R. Satyendra Kumar. Notable attendees included Dr. Khaleda Sultan, Additional District Magistrate, Dr. Ashutosh Barman, Joint Director of the District Health Department, Dr. Arun Debnath, Superintendent of the Hospital, Shahed Chowdhury, Bapan Das, along with other officials from RDSSO NGO and ONGC Cachar.

The distribution ceremony witnessed expressions of gratitude from every speaker towards ONGC and RDSSO NGO for their commendable efforts in social responsibility projects. This donation exemplifies their commitment to enhancing healthcare facilities, particularly in providing a comfortable environment for patients and medical staff.
