Throwing further personal insult directed to the 4some of BJP, Roy echoed, ‘A substandard, uninspired, mercenary bunch of people with no political insight, no analytical abilities, no sense of Bengali sensitivities. Education up to CLass VIII and a fitter mistri’s certificate. What do you expect?

Former Governor and West Bengal tall BJP leader Tathagata Roy has hit back at the four leaders involved in formulating and leading the West Bengal BJP’s top strategy to conquer and rule Bengal which could not materialise.

In a social media post Tathagata Roy, the veteran of West Bengal politics who was shunted out of the state with the Governorship has strongly hit out today where he wrote ‘ Kailash-Dilip-Shiv-Arvind (KDSA) foursome have dragged the names of our respected Prime Minister and Home Minister through mud and have sullied the name of the biggest political party in the world.”

What could be a strong message hinting at the change in guard in Bengal for the BJP to save its face? There was another post by Tathagata where he indicated that he has been called to Delhi by the topmost brass of BJP, which can only mean and we can presume that Tathagata is meeting the Prime Minister and down the line.

Coming under Roy’s fire of salvos are Kailash Vijayvargiya, Dilip Ghosh, Shiv Prakash, and Arvind Menon. Without mincing word Roy’s post states, ‘Sitting atop Agarwal Bhavan of Hastings (W Bengal BJP’s election headquarters) and 7-star hotels they have distributed tickets to incoming garbage from Trinamool. Now faced with abuse from party workers they’re staying put there, hoping the storm will blow over.

Not ready to give any credit to the BJP West Bengal team, Tathagata Roy argues further and wrote, ‘these people have heaped the worst possible insults on ideologically driven BJP workers and devout Swayamsevaks who had been relentlessly working for the party since the 1980s. Now those very people are suffering the worst persecution from Trinamoolis. But KDSA won’t go to their rescue, won’t even exhort them to fight back. Instead, they are trying to draw comfort from having raised BJP’stally from 3 to 77.

Roy ended his commentary by protecting the central leadership with the logic, he wrote – Some ask why don’t I blame the central leadership? A central leadership in a country of 1.3 billion has to be briefed by the state leaders who are just clueless.

Roys prediction:

Now I apprehend two exoduses from the state BJP. First of course is of the garbage who came from Trinamool and will now go back. The second may be the old Karyakartas of BJP. Unless they see signs of reform within the party they will also leave. And that will be the end of the party in West Bengal.

It will be interesting to see what development takes place in West Bengal BJP which will also have its impact in Assam’s tussle over Chief Minister’s post between incumbent CM Sarbananda Sonowal and Himanta Biswa Sarma.

The indications are in the wall, BJP leadership will not accept one-manship and would like to maintain discipline and idealogy of the party which is somewhat lost in the pursuit of power.

Bengal once again has shown the way…
