Prof. Goel delivered an online lecture on “Excellence Models for Teachers in a Changing Economic Scenario” during the GURU-DAKSHATA: 10th Faculty Induction Programme organized by the UGC-Malviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Dr. Chandrani Sen, Deputy Director and Programme Coordinator, delivered welcome address and presented a citation highlighting Prof. M.M. Goel’s academic achievements.

Explaining Gita-inspired Needonomics, Prof. Goel emphasized that education must restore the natural progression described in the Hitopadeśa—knowledge leads to humility, humility to worthiness, worthiness to wealth, wealth to dharma, and dharma to lasting happiness.

The true purpose of education, he observed, is not merely earning a livelihood but enriching life with values and meaning.

Describing himself as a fourth-generation teacher, Prof. Goel stressed that real education should promote the 3P approach—proper, productive, and practical use of the 3H: hands, head, and heart.

He urged teachers to become Street SMART(Simple, Moral, Action-oriented, Responsive, and transparent) so that education nurtures morality, excellence, and sustainable socio-economic development through the principles of Needonomics.
